The court's confirmed document of sale the home in Grybow by one sister
of my grandfather Józef Kasztelowicz the second his sister confirms
existing in my family both forms of surnames
My grandfather had five sister only (no brother). The names all are known
from this document exactly. The matter of it, is that one sister had sold
your part of home the second sister. My grandfather has been mentioned
in this document, because he was owner this home in 3/6 parts. Now nobody
from my family has any part of this possession, but this paper official
confirms, my family have been using both forms of surnames Kasztelewicz
as well as Kasztelowicz. Exactly here my grandfather is named as "Józefa
Kasztelowicza", what in text as should is form of Genitive from Józef
Kasztelewicz. Moreover, on next, not shown here pages of this paper the both
sisters had signed this themselves as Kasztelewicz.
This is reason, the Kasztelewicz is by me accepted as
my family name, although now I'm using Kasztelowicz.
